Why do we study the Bible? What is its authority in our lives? This is a good way to start an introduction to Bible study--by looking at what we expect to get from the Bible. It takes a high view of inspiration but does not make a statement on Biblical inerrancy. It is designed to be printed on 8 1/2 x 14 paper and folded in four. |
Suggestions for using The Authority of the Bible
The Authority of the Bible provides basic answers to questions about inspiration. It is useful as a handout when lay members are concerned about how they can have confidence in what they learn about God through the study of scripture.
